Gary Shangold, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Shangold is an obstetrician/gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologist with extensive experience at global companies in clinical research, collaboration development and regulatory affairs with a particular focus on women’ s health. He has served in senior regulatory and clinical development roles at Johnson & Johnson, the R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute and Serono Laboratories.

Dr. Shangold’ s work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, and he has held academic positions in the field of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive endocrinology at Harvard University School of Medicine and Massachusetts General Hospital.

He began his career at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where he was a practicing physician and conducted medical research for nearly eight years. Shangold was most recently past president of the American Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians, president and managing member of consulting company Convivotech, LLC, and president, chief executive officer and director of publicly-traded specialty pharmaceutical company NovaDel Pharma.
