Dr. Foegh brings to Agile's executive management team more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. She was most recently Vice President of Medical Affairs, Strategy & Development for Female Health Care at Berlex, Inc., where she was responsible for the successful development and regulatory approval of several new contraceptive products, including Yasmin(R) and Yaz(R). She also managed the approval process for follow-on indications of premenstrual dysphoric disorder, a first in class indication, followed by acne.

During her tenure at Berlex, Dr. Foegh also focused on R&D for alternative delivery routes in contraception. Prior to joining Berlex, she held senior positions at Solvay Pharmaceuticals US and with the IPSEN Group's Henri Beaufour Institute U.S.A., where she worked on small peptides and their delivery.

Dr. Foegh is a board-certified Ob-Gyn in Scandinavia, trained in Internal Medicine in the U.S. and licensed to practice medicine. She is Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Medical School's Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, and has written more than 150 peer-reviewed publications.
