Agile’s lead product is a new once-weekly, low-dose transdermal contraceptive patch that was developed utilizing more than 20 years of knowledge about transdermal patches and contraception. The Agile product has recently completed proof-of-concept and Phase 2 clinical development and is moving into Phase 3. Agile’s low dose patch will be available in a 28-day regimen, one patch worn once-per week for three weeks (i.e., three weeks on) followed by a fourth week without a patch (i.e., one week off). Agile’s patch (pictured below) is round in shape and nude in color (same as a light skin tone). It can be applied to the abdomen, buttocks or arms.
